EARL COLE
Inspired by the Margaret River Open Art Studios event in April 2016, Perth musician and entertainer Earl Cole picked up a paint brush and started a new creative journey as an oil painter. It had been decades since he had dabbled in art.
He was a talented sketch artist in primary school but never studied art at secondary school or at tertiary level. A photo realist who occasionally employs impressionistic techniques, Earl specialises in seascapes, bird paintings and portraits.
Earl held his debut solo exhibition in February and March 2017. He has since exhibited at the PLC and Churchlands Senior High School Art Exhibitions and was shortlisted for the City of South Perth Emerging Artists Awards.
